What we build Landing page

One page. One job. Your phone rings.

A landing page is not a small website. It is one page built around a single action, with everything that does not serve that action taken out. Point your ads here instead of at your homepage and the cost of an enquiry moves before you have touched a single ad.

Every extra link is a door out

Every route out of this page ends in a quote

FixIt repair kerbed alloy rims at your door. One promise across the top, and under it three ways in: send a photo, book online, or ring the number. The three things that normally stop someone — is this legit, what will it cost, how fast can you get here — are all settled on the same screen, by a real phone number, a free fixed quote and the words “usually same day”. Nothing on it invites you to go and browse instead, which is the reason the ads pointing at it do not have to work as hard.

Send us the page your ads point at
The FixIt Alloy Repairs page — one headline, a send-a-photo button, a book-online button and a phone number, and nothing else
FixIt Alloy Repairs — mobile rim repair, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Three ways to start, all of them the same job.
What you actually get

What is on it, and what is not

Everything on the page either raises qualified enquiries or comes off. That single rule is why a landing page is a different job from a five-page site rather than a smaller one.

The EFC 24/7 page — a five-day free trial, an open-24/7 sticker and one button

A headline that promises one thing

Not your company name, and not what you are. The outcome the customer came for, in the words they use for it themselves — one of them, singular. If the ad and the headline do not say the same thing, the click is already paid for and wasted.

The same page, ten different trades

A barber, a builder, a wheel repairer, a pressure cleaner, a gym. Every one of these was built around a single first action, and the argument does not change with the trade — only the words on the button do. Which one it should be is the first thing we work out, and it is usually not the one the owner would have picked.

A form that qualifies

Four or five fields that produce a lead worth ringing back, not two that produce a list of tyre-kickers. Enough to price the job before you pick up the phone.

The enquiries you are not paying for

Ads stop the day the card stops. Being found on Google is the same enquiry arriving for nothing, and it works far better once the page it lands on already converts.

Fast, on a phone, on four bars

Most of the traffic you are buying arrives on a handset halfway through something else. If it is slow under a thumb, nothing else on this list gets read.

Proof

We built these for ourselves first

Every agency shows you client work. These three are ours — our money on the line, and the first place anything on this page gets tried before a client is asked to pay for it.

The enquiry that used to be a phone call

Three owners on what changed once there was one page doing the asking for them.

I needed somewhere to send people that actually sold the work for me. They understood the offer better than I had explained it, and the copy on the page is what I now say out loud.

The photo-to-quote form on the site does half my admin for me now. Customers send a picture of the rim, they get a price the same day. I am on the tools instead of on the phone.

Owner

We had been running on word of mouth for years with nothing to send people. Now when someone asks, I send one link and the job closes itself.

FAQ

A homepage serves everyone. A landing page serves one person who arrived from one ad with one problem. Sending paid traffic to a homepage is the most common way we see money burnt.

Only if you are running ads or chasing one specific job type. If you are not spending on traffic, put the money into the main site first — we will say so.

We build the page and wire up the tracking so you can see what an enquiry costs. Ads are a separate conversation, and we will tell you honestly if you are not ready for them.

Less than a full site. We quote it before we start and the number does not move.

About a week. It is one page, and the thinking is the slow part, not the build.

Yes — same type, colours and photos as the rest of your business, so nobody arrives wondering whether they are in the right place.
