We claim it, fill in the fields that actually do the work, wire it to the site so the two agree, and set up the ask that brings in reviews. It is free to have and it takes an afternoon to get wrong.
The name, the hours, the distance, the rating and the phone number are all settled in the listing, on a screen you do not own and cannot argue with. By the time anyone reaches a page you built, that decision has already been made once.
Which is why the profile is not the afterthought at the end of a build. It is the first screen of the business, and it is free.
What the site does about itThe category, the suburbs, the trading hours and the phone number all live in two places at once. When those two disagree — an old mobile on the listing, hours that stopped being true in January — the customer finds out at the worst possible moment, standing outside a closed door or ringing a number nobody answers.
We set both off the same list, once, and we hand you the list so you can change it later without ringing us.
Reviews are what a stranger reads before anything else on the listing, and they are the one part of it that stays yours no matter who builds your next website. Almost all of the work is in the ask: at the right moment, from the person who did the job, with a link that takes one tap.
We do not write reviews and we do not buy them. We set up the ask and you get the ones you earn.
Talk it throughFour fields do most of the work, and every one is a decision rather than a form to fill.

Yes, and it is worth saying plainly: the profile is Google's, not ours and not yours. It works whether or not you ever build a site with us. We do it alongside a build because the two have to agree, and because the site is where the listing sends people.
No. Nobody can, and the ones who say they can are selling something. Distance from the searcher is a factor we cannot touch. What we can do is make sure nothing in the listing is stopping you — wrong category, missing suburbs, no photos, an empty services list.
The setup is a job, not a retainer — a short piece of work at our end plus whatever Google's verification takes at theirs, which is out of our hands. Changes to a profile often show within days, which is a lot faster than page rankings move.
That is the usual starting point, and it is the easier one. Most established listings have the basics and are missing the fields that do the work. We go through it with you rather than starting again — starting again loses the reviews.
Not by default. Most of the value is in the setup and in you knowing how to post to it. If ongoing work genuinely makes sense for your business we will say so, and if it does not we will say that too.
No. Fake reviews are against Google's terms, they are obvious to anyone reading a run of them, and they are the fastest way to lose a listing you have spent years building. We set up the ask; the reviews are yours to earn.
